LOG FILES
b/eArt follows a standard procedure of using log files. These files log visitors when they visit websites. All hosting companies do this and a part of hosting services' analytics. The information collected by log files include internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, Internet Service Provider (ISP), date and time stamp, referring/exit pages, and possibly the number of clicks. These are not linked to any information that is personally identifiable. The purpose of the information is for analyzing trends, administering the site, tracking users' movement on the website, and gathering demographic information.
COOKIES & WEB BEACONS
Like any other website, b/eArt uses cookies. These cookies are used to store information including visitors' preferences, and the pages on the website that the visitor accessed or visited. The information is used to optimize the users' experience by customizing our web page content based on visitors' browser type and/or other information.
You may consult this list to find the Privacy Policy for each of the advertising partners of b/eArt. Third-party ad servers or ad networks uses technologies like cookies, JavaScript, or Web Beacons that are used in their respective advertisements and links that appear on b/eArt, which are sent directly to users' browser. They automatically receive your IP address when this occurs. These technologies are used to measure the effectiveness of their advertising campaigns and/or to personalize the advertising content that you see on websites that you visit. Note that b/eArt has no access to or control over these cookies that are used by third-party advertisers.

Another part of our priority is adding protection for children while using the internet. Our Privacy Policy applies only to our online activities and is valid for visitors to our website with regards to the information that they shared and/or collect in b/eArt. This policy is not applicable to any information collected offline or via channels other than this website.

To fulfill your order or answer your questions, you must provide us with certain information, such as your name, email address, postal address, payment information, and the details of the product that you’re ordering. We share information with the post provider as necessary to provide you our services and comply with our obligations under both the EU regulations and Terms of Use.
Service providers. We engage certain trusted third parties to perform functions and provide services to our website and shop, such as delivery companies. We will share your personal information with these third parties, but only to the extent necessary to perform these services.
Business transfers. If we sell or merge b/eArt, we may disclose your information as part of that transaction, only to the extent permitted by law.

DATA RETENTION
We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary to provide you with our services and as described in this Privacy Notice. However, we may also be required to retain this information to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, to resolve disputes, and to enforce our agreements. We generally keep your data for 4 years.
TRANSFERS OF PERSONAL INFORMATION OUTSIDE OF THE EU
We may store and process your information through third-party hosting services in the US and other jurisdictions. As a result, we may transfer your personal information to a jurisdiction with different data protection and government surveillance laws than your jurisdiction. If we are deemed to transfer information about you outside of the EU, we rely on Privacy Shield as the legal basis for the transfer, as Google Cloud is Privacy Shield certified.

Access. You may have the right to access and receive a copy of the personal information we hold about you by contacting us at info@b-e.art.
Change, restrict, delete. You may also have rights to change, restrict our use of, or delete your personal information.
Absent exceptional circumstances (ie. where we are required to store data for legal reasons). We will generally delete your personal information upon request.
Object. You can object to (i) us processing of some of your information based on our legitimate interests and (ii) receiving marketing messages from us after providing your express consent to receive them. In such cases, we will delete your personal information unless we have compelling and legitimate grounds to continue using that information or if it is needed for legal reasons.
Complain. If you reside in the EU and wish to raise a concern about our use of your information (and without prejudice to any other rights you may have), you have the right to do so with your local data protection authority.
